Description: The aim of this study is to increase users’ eye donation knowledge and awareness through the design and development of the Eye Donor Aust app. Its development is based on the Design Science Research methodology adopting Persuasive Systems Design. Three cycles of iterative design and development are applied to develop an artefact Eye Donor Aust app. The app content is created based on mapping the meta-requirements into design requirements and design and development. The requirements are identified from the literature, consumer surveys and stakeholder consultations. The app is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This study is useful as guidance in designing and developing an educational app for other organ donation apps and similar.
